Art Edition label Old Pilot’s – OKO
We introduce new, limited and unrepeatable Old Pilot’s label created in cooperation with Croatian artists.
First in series was created with Croatian multidisciplinary artist Marina Mesar aka OKO.
Every year, just around Christmas holidays, we’ll cooperate with different Croatian artist which will have freedom to “suit” our bottle with new, original, custom made label.
Mysterious artist OKO has displayed her art in great number of world’s galleries and museums – France, Brazil, New york’s e-flux gallery, London Victoria and Albert Museum. Her work on Old Pilot’s limited collection is quite mysterious as well.
Art Edition OKO label attracts with its energy, deep red colours which evoke holiday mood and OKO’s illustrated characters. Bottle is waxed with deep red bottle wax custom made for this edition of Old Pilot’s gin.

“When I was thinking about collaborating with Old Pilot’s gin I decided to use few personal elements that created so many unforgettable stories in my life and actually defined some of very important moments in my life’s journey. Gin was always one of my favourite drinks so it helped to wrap up one of my very personal stories.” – says OKO further explaining birds illustrations: “For the past 15 years main motives in my art are human-like animals which, through their stories, bring messages of empowerment and small hidden messages just like fables with which we grow up with. I was always fascinated with birds, not only for their freedom of flying through sky and watching the world from some “higher spheres” but also as symbols in many religions and beliefs. Symbols of immortality and soul carriers from world to another. They look so fragile but timeless at the same time.”
Old Pilot’s Art Edition label is limited, original and unrepeatable batch of our awarded winning London Dry gin which will not be repeated with the same artist but will always be unique and collectable item available until every bottle has been sold.
